Well the fifth beta weekend event is over!

I just can't tell you how good the game is... So I won't

I'll just share a few screeshot's!

This one is from my new Guild hall and also new cape!

And don't think that I randomly made up a cape!

Because I DIDN'T!!!!

As you can see it perfectly blends into the surroundings...

This game isn't even an online RPG.

It feels more like Diablo than EverQuest.

Now here's something that really freaked me out when I was playing guildwars during this beta event!

Is it just me or in this screenshot this ping is really enjoying the fact the it's being roasted!?

that becuase it was made by blizzard north (who acctualy left blizzard but its just easier to explain this way) and blizzard north is the team that made diablo duh

damn i knew i was to late what do you need to pre order a game a credit card?

and why does the game come out after my spring break :'(

It's an online Action RPG.

Usually, Action RPGs are called Adventure games.

This would be classified as an online adventure game, moreso than anything else.

well, the last beta is over. Cant wait for it to come out. Its not a adventure game its a MMOCG, massively multiplayer online competitive game. well it said something like that on the site.

Interests:Well I'm obviously at least partially insane, although this is only really reflected on the internet; I frequent MSN, occasionally lurk myspace, and rarely post continuously on any forum nowerdays. Only console owned is a trusty PS2 (my DS met Mr.Accidental Knee to the Screen), and my PC is in a serious need of an upgrade, yet cash is never permitting. I go through periods of getting out a lot, and then staying in for ages, and I'm at college (not university, the ENGLISH version of college) studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Medieval History. I used play the violin (stopped recently), and once learned the Keyboard (terrible at it) - always wanted to learn guitar but never got round to it. I'm very open minded (generally), especially about music, although I still maintain that my favourite band is MUSE (WWW.MUSE.MU). Crappy essay over!

I just ordered this (£18 FROM PLAY.COM!!!!!!!!!), Can't WAIT for it to come, with the lack of subscription fees it is REALLY looking like a new age of weird, none MMORPG games, known as "Weird online games" .

Anyone else ordered/ bought/ got this game yet ? and if so can i have your player names and stuff so i can hook up with you when i get it ?? O.O

my friend got it already , and its AMASING !!!

its , well in my opinion better then W.O.W ,

and for Gothann ,

its almost like wow , - the subsription fees , and - the wow races & names , + the cool ability to x2 job class (like a warrior w/ a monk as a 2nd job , will be a palidin )

and + NO WEAPON RESTRICTIONS & + ITEM CUSTOMIZATION !!!!!!!!!!

i just dont like having to have a last name .....

It mite be better then WoW but that isnt to hard to do WoW almost killed itself by how fast u can lvl on that game. Think Guild Wars main competitor is Everquest 2 still. We'll see which is better seeign as Everquest 2 just got 2 new expnansion packs lately =)

Hmmm i guess guild wars though does take a twist from mostnormal mmorpg's seeing as it is more PvP then most mmorpgs. Just seems a bit in the middle from being single player to mmorpgs seeing as u can just use bots anyway to help with quests but group with players also. Though u can make a high lvl PvP character anyway from start taking away the lvling u go through normally with mmorpgs. o well it's ppl decision

I have it, it is sooo awesome. Ive never played wow, so i cant say its better, but its really good. Its not mainly pvp. its mostly mission and teamplay based. You can make 2 kinds of characters. PVP only and roleplaying. pvp starts out at max lvl, and u can customize from there, but skills are unlocked through role playing character. there is sooo much to this game, so give it a try!

I messed around in the Beta a bit and it was pretty buggy, of course I didn't expect it to be perfect since it was BETA. But yea the fact that you can make parties with NPCs sounded...erm...well...it sounded. One of my friends did say something about his Necromancer NPC party member flying over some mountains randomly or losing him and he is floating around in the air doing nothing...so I guess it might still have a bug or two in it?
