ok nothing special ill just tell you how to make this little calendar icon, i used it for a calendar button on ipb:
Making this:


1/first make a 16x16 pixel background, with a trans background. Make a square that hits all the sides in any colour you want( i used blue)

2/Then divide the rectangle or square into two parts evenly

3/Now divide the bottom part or will now be called "the dates" into a graph like box using black. I did it in 1x2(length by width), just make sure the blocks are even.

Now to recap you should have this:and if you don't your stupid


4/ok now just simply fill in the blocks with white.

5/NOW THE FUN PART!
in the empty block, draw a little picture. I did a scenery, Its very simple, take your pencil or brush tool select a dark green, make a 2 pixel line and then select a lighter shade of green and make pixel width line above that one. Then fill the rest with blue and put different shades of blue on it. It doens't have to look like that but its just an exmple.

now your reeady for the finish DUNH DUNH!!!!
6/FILTER>BLUR>GAUSSIAN BLUR!!
radius:0.6 pixels

now you got a stilish little calendar, why would you need this i dont no?
i know this is like a waste of a post, but whatever.
You can also use this technique to make other little icons.
I made this because i was bored,
and i might add some more tuts on how to make more icons.
