Reading is one of my main hobbies. I've loved to read since as far back as I can remember. My personal favorite book would be James Clavell's 'Shogun'. In my opinion, the greatest masterpeice ever written, period. I've read all the books you've mentioned -and I own the entire Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy series- and I loved them, though I actually found Dune to be pretty boring. If you like long books, read 'Summer Queen'. 1360 pages. Great book, the first in the "Season's Queen" series. Actually.. I could recommend a lot of books, but unfortunately, most people don't like to read -.-;
is loved by G.O.D
Wait... what? o.O;;

i do read.... once in a while, when i feel like reading and when i have no pc around me. I read Dune too, im thinking about reading some good books in English because most translations (fantasy books are always translated ones for me, never orignal) arent quite as good/funny as the original book.
ah hell, i have to read a book for my English-class this year and next year, so i might as well read some extra, just for fun
*thinks about reading 'the hobbit'*
can anyone recommend me any books?? and are there e-books available for me? cuz i might just print them out and read them (easiest way to get english books)
*edit*
btw. i really loved Raymond E. Feist (fantasy writer) and a read a kewl cyberpunk book (it had several stories inside it, mostly about the matrix :0 that book r0x0red) forgot the title though... might just have been 2 or 3 or more... cant remember. has been 2 years since i read it
i also read some more good books in the past few years, but the titles were in dutch, so i dont know what they were called in english, sorry guys

Crying softly on a winter night,
blaming myself for the things i've said and done,
thinking how it would be if you could hold me tight,
hoping that day will come...
Crying without a single tear,
longing for your love, i do...
pondering how nice it would be if you're here,
telling me you love me too...

"I am forced to read for summer reading... Now, I hate reading." I want to go upto the principal's face and say that. I want to go to any pro-reading speaker who tries to encourage reading and say that. I want to... read something I want to read.
The last thing I read that I wanted to read was one Stephen Hawking's books.

errm I don't really read books.... I've read some from along time ago but I forgot their names. I found the Goosebumps series great when I was at primary school and have read the all the harry potter books up to the order of the phoenix which I'm like a quater of the way through. I have a LotR triliogy (with the hobbit) but it's been in the dust for quite some time
Anyway apart for gaming mags and maby the newspaper etc I don't really read nowadays.

Every once in a while I go to the library, borrow books, and attempt to read them but I never seem to have enough time to read all of them all the way through. If I have to sit for an hour or two waiting for something or someone, I'll take a book with me to keep me occupied.
Other than that, I read newspapers, magazines, and textbooks during the school year.
