The following will be the rules for Rom-Source, they are to be obeyed by all members. These rules are subject to change at any time without informing you. These are also the basic rules, the staff reserves the right to impliment other rules not posted here at any time and for any reason.

1)
No Spamming - All post should be around a minimum of 5-10 words. Spamming can only be allowed in the spam zone and flamezone. What is and what is not spam is to be decided on a case-by-case basis by the member of the staffing team inspecting the post. Punishment is at that person's sole discretion!
Notes: Double-posting (or more) is considered spam, so try not to do this. Posts that are intentionally for the purpose to expand the forum box horizontally or vertically to a great extent is spam not tolerated.

2)
No Pornography/Hentai/Adult Material - This may be offensive to some members in the forums, and therefore it will not be permitted. Again, as above, what constitutes pornographic material will be decided on a case-by-case basis, as will the punishment.

3)
No Advertising - No advertising of any kind. Only exception is when a member of the staff approves of it.

4)
No Racism/Anti-Semitism/Discrimination - No Discrimination of any kind is allowed here, whether it's race/sex/religion, punishment can range from suspension or permanent ban, depending on what you posted.

5)
No Flaming/Flame Wars - Though you are allowed to disagree with other members, and encouraged to state your beliefs, personal attacks are strictly not permitted.

6)
Politics and Religion - Posting your political and religious views is allowed, to a certain extent. You may feel free to tell others you believe they are wrong, but you must be willing to debate with them about this. There will be no posts saying simply "You're wrong because you're wrong".

7)
Respect the Staff - The staff are the ones that help clean up and run this place in order for everything to move smoothly. It is recommended that they are treated with respect, as they are here to help you get your ROMs.
Staff includes - Administrators, [Global/Super] Moderators, and in some cases, GFX team, and uploaders.

8)
Do not ask to be on the Staff team - Do not ask to be a moderator, admin, or any other position, as it will only lower the chances for you to be one.

9)
No WAREZ - Absolutely no WAREZ allowed here! If you break this rule, you will automatically be suspended or maybe even banned! This is a very serious rule!

10)
Posting Site URLs/images/etc. - When posting a URL to a site, do not direct it to a site with stuff that has nothing to do with the subject of the thread. This is not allowed, and you will get a warning when you break this rule.

11)
Each IP or email address is permitted one account. If you have been banned do not try registering again as you will only be banned again. The only exception to this rule is multiple people sharing one computer or access point.

12)
It is up to the descretion of the staff to decide which rules and punishments apply. Yes, this leaves room for hypocracy, but that will be delt with if it occurs. Staff desicions override all other rules.
