So, simple question. Now that the Vita is about to be released in america, what are you going to get/have gotten?

Personally, I don't like the 3ds. My brother has it, and I have played around it quite a bit. Plays like a DSi with 3d, so not worth it for me. Plus, every since ninty came out with all this none standard controls, I have haven't been much a fan. God dang DS and Wii runied an empire for me.

And as for the PSP, well, the games really sucked quite a lot. However, homebrew was awesome. So for me, I pick the Vita, and hope for a nice kernel hack with a CFW. That would rule.

Got my 3DS back in the end of November. I wasn't going to but they had to release the special edition Zelda 3DS I just couldn't resist. As for getting Vita probably not now. Maybe in the future. Depends on a few things, custom firmware, games, and of course I will wait a year for the price to drop.

The halfbyte loader for psp emu works on it for now, ie psp homebrew. But you have to have already downloaded the psp game. Cause once Wololo releases the name of the game, it will be taken off. And Then you will also have to use a modded Content manager. Worth it, imo, but kinda sucks.

I want a nice image overflow. No game need, just copy over an png. O, and kernel access. Not user.

Naru has a 3DS currently, it's pretty cool. Still trying to beat the last boss in Sonic Generations.
Vita seems to be doing poorly in Japan which scares Naru a bit.

Yeah, it is doing pretty poorly all around really. Though homebrew, at least via the psp emu built in, is doing well. Lots of games released that can be exploited. Just had another a few days ago. And there is already a way to add stuff to it without connect to the internet via OpenCMA(very needed imo). Also a opensource one is in the works.

Oh yeah,
You guys probably don't know that Naru obtained a full size Sega Star Wars Pod Racer Arcade.
Had to stash it at a buddies until the remodel is complete, but then it's coming home!

The screen has a little burn in, and the seat is cracked.
Naru will have to work on it to make it perfect again.
Will probably replace that monitor with an HD TV.
That may necessitate rebuilding the monitor section altogether.
Sounds like fun.

It's actually too big for the house,
