I should of started this thread when it happened. I don't have cable and I don't know if you guys have followed up with the revolt in Egypt. It has practically hit the fan in one of the beautiful countries in the world. As I hope most of you guys are aware. The internet and other services have been completely cut off from civilians. It will probably escelate more. But what we are seeing right now is full censorship on demand.

I had an epic nightmaredream thing last night. When I realized that a couple of years ago i read an DIY on 2600 on how to intercept satellite signals in real time. Then a few months later I read about how these hackers from the HOPE community engineered it so that they can piggy back information on the already braodcast signal. End to end... Barons awesome wifi router if he got one is going to be key pieces for actually establishing good communicatoin if that were to happen here.

Anyway hope you guys are spreading the word. Most of my friends are like "WTF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT EGYPT IS HOT AND SANDY" when I ask "What do youguys about about Egypt" saddly most people don't care. I do... heh k well i hope you put up your opinions and what not. really want to hear your thoughts.

I honestly feel like some of my friends that I know in rl are totally oblivious to the rest of the world.

Yeah it's a revolt of the working poor.
The government cut off the internet, and cell phone communication
in an attempt to stifle it.
The next attempt will be some sort of "offering" to placate the masses.
If/when that doesn't work then the government will try more force.
The success of the revolt will hinge on getting the middle class to join in.
It would seem the Arabian people have more balls than us Americans,
because this is exactly what needs to happen here.
A revolt against our rich masters.
Law is a joke when only the poor have to follow it.

They're distributing pamphlets and having peaceful marches. I really want something good to come from this, but I don't think anything will. It's too much to hope for...

So far other countries are revolting as well. Things might go really good if people don't let up... or really bad the way we haven't seen ever before. This as much as an informantion war, as it is a libertys war.
