So I asked this lovely lady out today and was quickly shot down. Not because she didn't like me, or so she says. But because she thought I was too young. <.<
Kinda hurts my feelings actually. Haven't had the best of luck lately.
Anyway. She goes to class in the same building I do and I just started talking to her one day, because she's gorgeous derr. So I ask her out and she tells me no that I'm a little too young for her and we can still talk. Bummer.

Women are still doing that these days? Too young really. Damn.

I say if you are 17, a year or 2 apart is fine. As you get older, the age difference matters less. Once your 80, sure, go bang a 40 year old. But when young, the brain isn't fully formed yet, so I say stick with like.

Well, I can understand her. At even 30, I would not go younger then 25, at least as a general guideline. People mature differently, and she may have had bad luck with youngins. If you really like her, stay friends, and maybe in time she will see the error of her ways. If you just think she is hot, move on, plenty of fish in the sea. I would guess trying to make it work with her just cause she is hot, not worth the trouble.

It feels weird as fuck to go out with a guy who's younger than you. It's a "social taboo" if you will. So, I can see where she's coming from. I did that whole scene once and it was weird.

Also, 9 years is a big difference. A couple of years isn't so bad, but that's like a whole lifetime practically at your respective ages. There's a lot of maturity and life experience differences.

But yeah, getting shot down sucks no matter what. Try to be friends and then see what happens from there.

Fuck the social taboo! Age doesn't really matter. Also if she can pull of going out with a younger guy. That would make her pimp. Well then again here in socal the rules are different. I saw a lady in her 40's I would guess. SMOKING Hawt! Out with two young'ns swear they were probably 18 or so. I was like "Wow... That lady must be buying them hella stuff. I even saw one of them grab her booty.... Damn!

ANyway age only matters when you care about it. I'm not advocating statuary rape in anyway. But but as long is the person isn't like 30 years old hitting on a 15 year old it's all good. I see it as when back in the day chicks who were 16 17 would get married to older men. But they were in their early twenties. Also this shouldn't sound like i'm in for that. I love teh older women... I had a fling with a 43 year old and a 35 years old and a 27 year old.... and i'm only 23! Also when I was 17 I made out with a chick in her mid twenties I think... or somwhere around there.

Also have you guys noticed how some women are in their late 40's and look like fucking early 30's? Man i think women are going to mexico and getting their doses of stem cells... cause WOW!

ALso i've seen a lot of people who are supra young but look old as fuck... That's what you see when you work the register. OMG and people that smoke are the fucking nasty... I hate when I get up all close so I can hear them just to be like deterred by their smokers breath. Also their skin is nasty like saggy and weird.

I've never thought age was really an issue, I'm not talking about fifteen year old girls and thirty year old men. I'm talking about the adult world, you know the one I was pushed into. It comes with taxes.

It's always been my idea that if a forty something woman wants to date an early twenties guy, go for it. Or vice versa.

Of course I think she's smokin'. But the whole reason I asked her out is because I'd had actual conversations with her several times a day for a few weeks now. I've been trying not to just ask out women I think are hot, it hasn't been working out for me. So I actually talk to them. Then if I think we have more in common than the brand of jeans we're wearing I ask them to lunch or something.

Good women are difficult to find.

I talked to her a few times since I asked her out, she's only mentioned it once.

I do wholly agree with this. However, and I mean no offense by this, at 21 I would still consider myself a child. Hell, I passed 21 a while ago, and still do. Your brain doesn't finish until near 27. Of course, people are all different, and some are quicker or slower, but that is the average. Now, if an older person wants to put up with you, good for them, but some people, for whatever reason, can't.

Now you may be a very mature 21 year old, but that isn't normal. I really can't image a mature 21 year old guy. Every single one I have met are just farked. But I have had a biased experience, living in a hilljack heroin town. Maybe she has experiences as I do.

Then just keep it up. As you get older, age matter's less. In ten years time, you will be perfect.


Also, bring up the fact that women normally live longer, so she needs to be with a younger man, and you are the perfect age for that.

I agree with you Baron. Most 21 year old guys here are still pretty much tards, which is probably the rule not the exception. She's probably used to that.

Even for me at 20, I still consider myself a child.

As I type, I am surrounded by 3 20ish guys. You should hear the crap I am hearing. One, my brother, is talking about a 48 year old chick, that has 13 boyfriends right now. And he wants to be the 14th. O, and it just went to his first women. A 70+year old women who lived next door with her 2 boyfriends. And a 40 year old women (my aunt, yes, they are talking about it with her in the room) just said "what happened to love?". She has prob heard a few of these talks.
