Well, things are going to change here in a week or two. I just ordered me a "top O' the line". Best one, for the price, that I could find. A 5" player, that can handle H264 MKV's, with dual audio, subs, everything. It is called Ramos T12. Built in 8gb( with an SDHC slot), stereo speakers, 720p out, 800x480 screen(pretty good for a 5in screen), 16 hour audio battery time, and best of all lossless audio support via APE and FLAC (though I would have liked to have seen TTA, or TAC too). Ordered it bout 30min ago. Can't wait to get it in.
I have been looking at different ones for quite a long time. The reason I got this one is because:
#1 I like the features.
#2 RAmos is a pretty big name. Not one of the crappy things you can get on ebay.
#3. RAmos was the first, and is still the best, when it comes to H264 players. Sure, there are some that can play, at best, the same file size, but they can't A do dual audio B do embeded subs, ect. I watch a lot of vids, and quite a few of them are subbed.
When I get them in, in the "4 - 14 working days in transit" + the day or two to process, I shall inform you of how good it really is. I am a bit of an audiophile as well, so, here is hoping wolfson wm8988 really is as good as is said. I gots'ta have me good music on the go, I think this will do.
I also got me a thing called a Fiio P3. It is a AA batter charger, and a USB charger, that lets you use the AA's as a power source for onthego power. As well as some 3000mAh AA's.
O, and to give you guys an idea on size...
