So I've had this weird off on pain in my side lately. For about two weeks actually. It didn't feel life threatening and only came around when I was moving alot or really fast. But lately it's gotten just a little worse. And it sorta felt like the time I had that lung infection. So I began to get a little worried.
Well. I'm at work and I was telling someone I work with about it. My boss comes in, heard me and told me to goto his doctor. And because he's so awesome he also told me to just tell his doctor that he'd sent me so I wouldn't have a bill.
Well today after lunch I goto the doctor. I spend about an hour and half in the waiting room.
Well when I finally get in there and get examined and ever thing the guy tells me that he thinks that I have a slight infection in my lungs. Which I expected because I've been here before. Well, what I didn't expect was he said he thinks I also may have a fractured rib. And or ribs. He thinks that might be what caused the infection.
So yea. Crazy. Well he gets me x-rayed and tells me they won't have the results for a week. Which to me makes alot of since. (not)
Anyway he went ahead and gives me a prescription for antibiotics and some pain killers and some steroids for my lungs.
So no more heavy lifting for a while. Which is pretty much my entire job description. But my boss being cool has put me on trash and clean up duty until I'm better.

Sorry about that. Hope the pain isn't too unbearable.
And
Your boss rules. Freaking awesome. Not many bosses who would be so nice.

Dude, you have no idea. He works the shite out of his employees, but he takes very good care of them. There is a dog living at the office right now because the lady who works in there moved and could no longer have an animal in her apartment so he lets her keep him there until she finds a solution to her err problem.
He's a great guy. Like I said, this is my old job. He never really layed me off. Business got really slow though and he did have to let go a few workers. But it seems to be picking up lately and hopefully it'll last.
As far as me though. No call from the doctor bout my xrays. But I have some pretty awesome pills because I've barely felt any pain all day. Which it could be because I haven't done any heavy lifting and the such.

Thats good. Not many employers are like that anymore. They think they can just replace you. But if you have a happy worker, one who knows you really do want them to be happy, they are much more willing to work harder, and longer.
Also, he is a good man, to let the dog stay there. That is not something I would expect to see much people do nowadays. Proops.

Well he's been in business for almost thirty years. So the guy know's how to handle his errr business.
And I've learned recently he has a thing for animals. The is also a cat. Which lives in a different area of the office. Not that the big sissy of a dog would mess with it.

Awesome. We got a cat at work too. Big old bear of a cat. A rescue. Was found shivering and starving in the middle of a parking lot. Loserest cat ever. Walks in front of anybody, and flops over wanting to get petted. But he is huge. He has no claws, and while I don't normally like declawing, since he is a bis cat, I can understand. Can't have him scratching anybody. However, his fangs are over an inch long. He is an indoor outdoor cat, and he is "king" of the area. Nothing messes with him, be they dog, or what ever. He has taken down giant rats, with just his fangs.
O, and get this crap. He drools. Like made. You pet him for a few mins in you can fill up a glass. Freaking gross. I won't pick him up anymore.

Whoa. This cat at my work is kinda just a lazy fudge head. He'll just flop all over the floor and is kinda bipolar. He'll let you pet him sometimes and other times he'll sprint away.
There's actually a lot of animals at the shop. They come and go with the boss and his daughter and the other lady that works in the office. It can be like a zoo at times.
This cat we have up there though has never been out of the office, unless it was to the vet. From what my dad said he's been up there since he was a kitten.
