My dad wants me to do some crap with his "doctor". Now I can't draw, or use photoshop well, so most of it is out the window. However, I was hoping one of you guys could help me out with something. I want to get a gif "stamp" made out of this pict

and I was hoping one of you could do it for me, if it is easy. Without the border and background. Just the doctor outline, with transparent background, so that I can just place it on anything. So I can "stamp" all the fliers he is having me make. That right there is the best I can do for a "stamp", but I just can't get rid of the background. All I know is that it needs to be gif to have transparencies. I don't to photo editing, ever.

I don't know if this is easy or hard, but doesn't hurt, much, to ask.

That is just what I wanted.
Problem is I showed my dad it, and now that he knows what I meant by "stamp", he wants it white. Any chance you can get me a white one?

True, but he won't pay for it, plus business is really tight right now, picking up a bit since Xmas, but still slow as heck. No money for such things. Though he will one day, but that will be a redrawing, so that he can trademark it, right now it is just an royalty free one. Till then, he is too much a penny pincher to pay for it.

First of all, I "dislike" my father, so it pains me to stick up for him, but you make me.

He has never, ever lectured me about anything, one of the reasons he was a bad father I guess. Besides, I don'[t mooch. My other brothers do, I don't. I always do way more then is called for, and don't ask for anything.

And, no offense meant to Soulreaver, but this isn't really art. It does, however, require skills. All I wanted was to remove a background. Not to draw it. While my dad does have many many faults, not seeing artistic talent is not one of them. He was very happy to see it, once he knew what it was. But, it wasn't something that Soul had to sit down and draw. It was already drawn. As I said, he would be willing to pay, once he gets one that is trademarked, but till then, he just doesn't care to spend money on something like that.

And, I figgered out how to do it now, got the white one done looking good. Course, I only know how to do it in a round about way, using GIFWorks.com. But I cut it down more then 50% in file size, by removing all but 2 colors(I think just 2).


Hahaha, black doesn't show up. Hahaha.


Dang, I fell dirty now. I need another shower.

It actually is, digital art.

It should be vectorized
with the pen tool in Illustrator
so it can be scaled to any size,
but whatever....

Did you use photoshop? What version, if you did. Cause I have 11, I think, and I couldn't find out how there.

i used Photoshop CS2 and then used the magic eraser tool to erase the background

It has a pretty big learning curve.

That it does, up till today I had to open things up in paint to do simple crap, but I got the hang of a bit of it now. It makes things, well, not easier, but better.
