So, are there any emu's that will let me play any games at full speed, with or with out frameskip? I really want to play Phantasy Star V2 or Cubivores. Anybody know if I can? Cause I won't be able to get a better comp for a while.

I don't think there are any functional GameCube emulators. And, though I've never actually looked, I doubt there are a lot of emulators for Dreamcast.

More then I thought. Only problem is I have an Nvidia card. Dreamcast doesn't work right with them, inless you like wireframe. I can play through my onboard video processing, but it is just to slow. Sucks to be me.

try ssf in full screen with no scanlines works full speed for me on a crappy intel gfx card

Dreamcast is apparently top notch now, i've only ever wanted to play one game from that console, which was capcom vs marvel 2, which i happily played awhile ago, with wiimotes connected to my laptop.

That is awesome. The only ones I really want to play from dreamcast would be PSO, Starlancer, Sonic Adventure 2,Dragon Riders of Pern, and Seventh Cross Evolution. None of which are working well on my craputer.

It's so easy to play games burnt on a disk on a Dreamcast that I really suggest that you just get the console. If you're able to find one you're likely to get them for a really cheap price.

well only the older original dreamcasts can play strait burn disks the newer models have some sorta protection

Pre 2001 systems can. And I have one. With a few dozen games...

I am just missing the video cord. And none of the stores/pawnshops/thriftstores/fleamarkets around here have one. Woe is me.
