So Naru was screwing around
with this DOSBox emulator,
and was wondering what
some good games for DOS
are?
Naru has tried
the Jill of the Jungle series,
and the side scrolling Duke Nukem games.
Those were pretty fun.
Spiderman bit ass.
So yeah,
Tell Naru some good ones.

Descent is an awesome game, as is Jazz Jackrabit. I've heard good things about Commander Keen, though I've never played it myself. The Catacomb Abyss is awesome, though nearly identical to Wolfenstein (Better if you ask me for supernatrual reasons). Soulslayer--if he's still around--will tell you without a doubt to try the Secret of Monkey Island. I'll tell you the same, if you like point and click adventures. Abandonia is a great site to find some gems. I've a couple times found some great games just by browsing their library.

Thanks for the website Lazlo!
Naru's been to a few last night,
but they had too much advertisement
crap to weed through to download anything.
Naru will try some of these,
and let you know how it goes.
Holy crap!
They have Karateka.
Naru remembers this one
from the old days as a kid.
Couldn't beat two guys back then.
Heh, heh, looks like Naru is better now.
Got inside the building and to the end.
Then a spike gate smushed my head in...damn.

How about X-wing and Tie Fighter? Those are pretty good games.

Side-tracking leechers with Jody and Sex, one newb at a time!
BECAUSE NO LEECH, CAN RESIST OUR REPELLENT!
Just remember being leechy is not peachy!

Gold! You have golden eyes. You tend to be quite
distant, and may come off as depressed. In truth,
you are, but once people get to know you, a smile
or a laugh breaks through your emotion barrier every
now and then!

I played the shit out of Commander Keen. I love it.
Loom was supposed to be good, but I don't remember very much of it.
Betrayal at Krondor was an interesting RPG thing based off of the books by Raymond E. Feist. Or maybe the books are based off the game... I don't remember.

Commander keen was awesome xD, i also loved Secret Agent, actually every apogee game was the best in my books
I only ever beat CK:4 and CK:6, but I played all of them, and sucked horribly. Am I the only one who found the first three ridiculously hard?

I only played quests when I had DOS. Those were Teenagent, Sam and Max hit the road, Flight of the Amazon Queen, and of course, Legend of Kyrandia 1-3 (I think the second and third games were the best... hmm, but maybe I played the 3rd one on Windows). There were also Igor: Objective Uikakohonia, Companions of Xanth and Leisure Suit Larry 1. Pretty cool stuff.
