A little intelligible discussion on some of the better anime.

Here's hoping this doesn't flop with me looking like an arrogant *beep*, so fingers crossed everyone...
Now then i find it hard to know what to talk about here as i always thought that these anime were particularly well rounded off, with few questions to be asked or flaws to be pointed out, so rather i'd like to applaud the makers of Trigun for such a clever plot intermixed seamlessly with various levels of comedy (read- fun for all the family), so it is a shame that for various reasons that company went under and the people who worked on it were dispersed among another. As far as both Trigun and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and now that i think about it Fruit's basket go i saw the american dub, but Lucky star was of course in good old fashioned text, as the dub is only coming out around now. Unfortunately they didn't...get the best voice cast but i feel they did a good job considering how badly they could've gone.
Any opinions chaps and chapettes? I'm all ears.

What i hate about funimation is that they reuse voices
ex:
Piccolo - solty rei
Krillin - slingshot boy from one picece
ect. i think you get my point

I love Trigun, and am trying to get Lucky Star. As for Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya or Fruit's Basket, I have heard of them, but not much. Are they any good? What type of show are they?
My favorite are SciFi shows with a bit of romance thrown in, AKA Vandread, Chobits, ect.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is very science fictiony, there's lots of stuff like time travel and alternate dimensions and philosophical dilemmas and the like. But with quite a bit of comic relief in too, and generally fun to watch, though there is quite a bit of "fanservice" insofar as the charachter Mikuru but i'd say everyone acts as befitting their charachters so it makes sense. And yes it has romance too. Interesting too is that i gather the second series will be appearing at some point in the near future so there's that to look forward to.
I'm kinda new to this myself, i'm just fortunate that the one showing me all this has such good taste- hence i have heard of but know nothing about Vandread or Chobits.

she kills and kills until she mets another robot where they settle down and stop killing.
Real Chobits: It's about a robot who has no memory of anything and a boy finds her in the trash, and steals her. he lies to himself and says "it's recycling" as he develops feelings for the robot she to does. Long story short. dude finds robot, ask for help on how to take care of it.

I still say hands down though that the best anime i ever watched was Fencer Minerva(it's a hentai.) J.k

Though I'd have to say if you really want a good fresh anime i'd go for XXXHolic, synopsis:
Boy sees ghosts!!!
lol

And closest thing to "hentai" I have ever seen is a very "ecchi" show called CPU. I watched it because I was told that it was a bit like Chobits. It was, but well, very, very, very ecchi. not hentai, but dang close. However it was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. When the dang apples showed up, I could help but laugh.
Full Metal Panic is another of the shows I have sitting on my hard drive waiting to watch. I have over a dozen shows waiting to be watched. I really need to get around to it.
By the way, anyone have an Anime Planet account? It helps me keep track of what shows I have seen, watching, and ones that I want to watch. I would give a link to my profile, but it seems that I can't access the site for some reason.
