Hey guys, I was thinking of getting a PSP. Just a few questions cause I'm still new to all this tongue.gif

1) Do you have to have a phat PSP to do install CFW on the slim?

2) Is it okay that I just get a datel battery tool and that memory stick thingy to install CFW on the slim?

3) How's the multimedia capabilities of the PSP? Is the mp3 sound quality for it any good?

The slim will work with datal's battery. The Memory stick "thingy" is illegal to sell or distribute, so you need a "friend" to give it to you. I am not sure bout the MP3's. I don't give a rat's arse about sound that much. I have mine as 64kbs WMA files.

Crap...I guess you need a phat PSP for the magic memory stick, right? Maybe I should just hit up craigslist and find someone who'll install CFW for 10 bucks or something... unsure.gif

I really don't...

Anyway...hows the volume of the PSP? Some people say the volume limit is too low, while others say it just depends on your ear phones. Any ideas?

You are such a loser, going to make me spell it out? I HAVE A HACKED PSP!!!!

Ok, yea, the sound was pretty low at first, so I just converted my songs with maxed volume, and now it is perfect for listening while mowing. Also there is a program called PSPlayer that can boost the audio 16x, though I wouldn't recommend any past 4x though , you start losing alot of sound quality.

Um, yea, well, I don't need to "give" it to you. I send you the files, you put it on your memerycard and pop in your datal battery in your slim. then flash your PSP with a custom firmware.
