An all-girl J-pop group that I've been a fan of for years.
If you've heard of them and have an opinion, post it here.
Favorite Songs? Post them here. (I'll include mine later... I'm still trying to sort the list in my head.)
Finally, if you know anything about Sharan Q, a Japanese pop-rock band lead by Tsunku, Morning Musume's manager, post it here. I'm really curious if anyone has heard Sharan Q (I have yet to find their music...).

meh, their songs are so so.... too poppy for me liking, egao is probably my fav song of theirs, they got way too many members for a group I reckon. Niigaki Risa is probably my favourite member
I sat back looking at the stars and began to think... where the HECK is my roof?!

There are quite a lot of members in the group, that's true. I kind of wished they kept their original group longer than they did though (or at least until Generation 5).
And, it is quite "pop-py"... As a man, part of me is proud for the bravery of admitting that I really like "Love Machine" and "Renai Revolution 21". But the same gender also compels me to feel shame.
I try to ignore that, though. ^__^
Generally, though, I'm not so big in music, so my choices are pretty much limited to '80s rock/metal, Morning Musume, and DragonForce.

No need to be rude Panda, though I have never heard of them, so I can't say anything about that.

Morning musume... Used to like them but now, not very into it.. 5th Genaration was the best but Ogata and Konno left.. TT
Luckily Ai chan and Risa still on the group!! Leader and sub leader.. lol
The old songs are nice especially Morning coffee, love machine, peace, and the others..
I like them when all the hello project members get together and sing the old songs in the concert ^^

Hey, you're a Morning Musume fan, so maybe you can answer a question that I've been wondering about for a while now. From my understanding, the way their group works is that they have auditions for new members (every year?) kind of like Menudo, so that their members stay young and fresh, right?
So I was curious, do new girls still perform songs originally sung by previous members? It must be kind of weird to hear different voices singing than the ones on the album originally....

Dude, I totally remember M.M. from watching japanese music video shows with my mom. Crazyness, never thought they would reach America. I highly dislike them though, Japanese pop music seems to rely much too heavily on cuteness as opposed to not being completely tone-def.
