I was deciding on what I wanted to listen to for a while on my morning trip to work, and found a bunch of Final Fantasy Music. So i burned the cd and went on my way. So now comes my point. What are your favorite video game OSTs?

I am definitely a fan of the Final fantasy OST's composed by Nobue Uematsu, the Initial D games also provide great driving music. Ooh...and we can't forget the classic Mario songs, or much of Koji Kondo's works either...

DDR, Final Fantasy 4 and X, Chrono Cross Opening, Kingdom Hearts 1+2, Rez (holy crap, can't forget this one), Jet GRIND Radio (NOT the Jet Set one, the US version has a few kick-ass added songs), Jet Set Radio Future, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, and you have to grab the Classical and Techno versions of Vampire Killer from Castlevania.

That's all I have on video game music.

yes the kingdom hearts music is good i also like songs from killer 7 it has a very good sountrack

Warcraft II & III
Metal Gear Solid ( especially the ending theme )

I think Zelda's Lullaby is really well done, and that medival theme from Chrono Trigger (forgot what it's called).

Nobou Uematsu is one of fav composers alive!. You should check out his rock band the BLACK MAGES. although i don't think they do rock or Uematsu justice in is intersting

Try One Winged Angel (Orchestra Version) of FFVII Advent Children , or Liberi Fatali of FFVIII or maybe a weird track of Italian Pop/Opera from Gunslinger Girl's Image Album (Poca Felita)...its called la ragazza col fucile methinks

ooh...I forgot about a lot of those, many choices.... and in general, the music behind video games has gotten better and better over the years...now its time to go hunting

Percussion Freak(japanese version of Drum mania). i love those JPOP and JROCK beats. FF OST would always be at my list

My favorite Game music is in Final Fantasy X > To Zanarkand and Suteki Dane.
Also, there is this new FF game > Final fantasy 12.
I like the classic one.. and the MV.

for me it's almost the latest FF series and Chrono Cross and Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2..
