Well, old television and PC monitors can be recycled.
You just have to find a place that does it.
Naru wouldn't recommend that you just pop open your
old monitor and tinker around.
There are capacitors inside that carry a near fatal electrical charge,
even when the monitor is unplugged.

kefkadman: people say im weird tho, maybe they just dont feel enough
Stephanie z: People don't feel enough. People don't like feeling at all. Feeling makes them uncomfortable. It reminds them they're not perfect. No one wants to be sad or angry or scared or unsure. They think that all they need is happiness. So they push everything out. They numb themselves to it until when the time comes for them to actually feel, they can't. They don't know how. They've fixed themselves in a way so that they can't even be happy. In the end they sort of just exist. You're not like that, and they're not used to it.

ALL picture tubes do, which is why they explode when cracked *yay* it was fun to watch my idiot friend pop one of those things and watch the glass spray up out of the dumpster it was in. (also a vacuum, yay)
