Hey, heres a doozy. My comp has gotten a virus or sumtin that prohibits the speakers to work, or even connect with the pc, however, in some wierd way, this has effected my VisualBoyAdvance. Being so, that the emulator plays NORMALLY at 300-500% speed. It's not good. Funny to try, but not good.
Can anyone help me? I'm, not a computer genius, and'll probably need some direction.
Thanks, RockmanHalo

also make sure that the sound is actually checked on in the drop down menu...thingy
if its for the GBA and your sound DOES work but you want it off, just click on mute instead of off, then it will run at normal speed, or make sure the sound is on and turn your speakers off :-)

... In this case, and I think the guy is gone, he has to 1) download AVG and update it, run it, clean out potential viruses. 2) reinstall his soundcard drivers, and even perhaps 3) reinstall his sound card. That should get the sound working and allow for audio sync in VBA.

Why is it that everyone but me has an emulator that runs either really fast, or normall, but me? I use VBA, and it runs at about 50% speed. It's kinda annoying.

I don't know, but I got BoycottAdvance, and it works PERFECTLY!. I don't know what it does, but it works great.

I'd check all options under audio and synchronisation for any signs of extra throttle and mute. If those look sus, reply.

^Yeah,
But the virus could have also done something to his video acceleration in his computer display options. I'm guessing it's a combo of the two.
