Warlock : (06 February 2012 - 09:07 PM) This will be my new toy this Saturday - http://www.bestbuy.c...6&skuId=2769576
Theredbaron : (06 February 2012 - 04:11 AM) Life, tiss full of FARK YOU! Moments.
Warlock : (05 February 2012 - 09:20 AM) LOL :D
Theredbaron : (05 February 2012 - 02:57 AM) Haha, that is the same for me, cept with newegg. :) I checked both stores, cause they are both "good" ones, but newegg was always cheaper for what I wanted, Also, hen I ordered my case it said it would be a week or so to get here, got here in 2 days.
Warlock : (04 February 2012 - 01:27 PM) I'm a Tiger fan but only because when ever I've looked for stuff, Tiger always had what I needed and usually cheaper than NewEgg. I even get great delivery time with Tiger. A lot faster than what's stated! :D
Theredbaron : (03 February 2012 - 07:07 PM) I ended up getting one that tiger didn't have, so :P to tiger.
Theredbaron : (03 February 2012 - 07:07 PM) No where near. Tiger is nothing compared to Newegg. When I built my computer, they only had like, 20 vid cards. Newegg had over 100.
Warlock : (03 February 2012 - 11:05 AM) Tiger and NewEgg are roughly the same. Same selection, same prices. LOL
Theredbaron : (02 February 2012 - 03:59 PM) Eh, more of a newegg man myself. Fark tiger. They have shitty selection.
Warlock : (02 February 2012 - 10:37 AM) Check places like Tiger Direct! :D They always have some great deals going on.
Theredbaron : (01 February 2012 - 08:43 PM) Last I checked they were up 20-30 plus. But I haven't checked in a bit. Not since about a week or two after the big floods.
Warlock : (01 February 2012 - 08:52 AM) I haven't seen much change in prices. I've seen a bunch go down. :D
Theredbaron : (31 January 2012 - 05:26 PM) The bad thing is that now all the prices are going up. DAMN YOU GOD! YOUR FLOODS MAKE ME SPEND MORE!
Warlock : (31 January 2012 - 11:02 AM) LOL :D
Theredbaron : (30 January 2012 - 05:07 PM) You sir, are an arse. Need me a new drive, or 10.
Warlock : (30 January 2012 - 12:43 PM) You asked for it - 128MB Lexar Jump Drive, 2GB Kingston DataTraveler, 4GB PNY Optima SDHC (Digital Camera), 32GB Class 10 Adata SDHC (Camcorder), 8GB SanDisk Micro SDHC (my DS), 2GB Micro SD (wife/daughter's DS), 32GB Transcend SDHC Class 10 (Wii - DML), two 2GB Kodak SD, four 2GB SanDisk SD, 4GB Micro SDHC (Wii). All those 2GB SD cards I had for my Rock Band 3 DLC until I was able to emulate the NAND! :D
Theredbaron : (29 January 2012 - 02:49 PM) Lol, yes. O, just remembered more. I also have a 4gb nano g1 and a 4gb nano g2
Warlock : (29 January 2012 - 01:25 PM) LOL No, I just own a lot of electronics! :D

 • Interests:Well I'm obviously at least partially insane, although this is only really reflected on the internet; I frequent MSN, occasionally lurk myspace, and rarely post continuously on any forum nowerdays. Only console owned is a trusty PS2 (my DS met Mr.Accidental Knee to the Screen), and my PC is in a serious need of an upgrade, yet cash is never permitting. I go through periods of getting out a lot, and then staying in for ages, and I'm at college (not university, the ENGLISH version of college) studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Medieval History. I used play the violin (stopped recently), and once learned the Keyboard (terrible at it) - always wanted to learn guitar but never got round to it. I'm very open minded (generally), especially about music, although I still maintain that my favourite band is MUSE (WWW.MUSE.MU).

Crappy essay over!

I'm currently taking part in a business-insight thing with school (took one subjects exam early so I have a year to kill) and today there was this crazy guy who does training for Mac products and was just blabbering on about how Macs are wonderful, sure being based on Unix allows them to claim that they DON'T have ANY virii but they do however have some security leaks and trojans/maelware, they also don't offer enough customization, what you buy is what you have to keep, and you can't build your own - kinda like consoles... Sure you can add RAM or a GPU (both of which are extortionately priced) but it ain't the same as building your own system.

Soo... There's a few of my arguments, obviously in favour of the Windows based PC - I don't have anything against Linux either, I just prefer Windows as an OS, despite it's insecurities.

Hey, DOS is cool too.

I only use Windows because of the application support. I would switch to Ubuntu in an instant if it could suit my needs.

Windows definately. I HATE Macs. I've owned a Mac laptop for 2 and a half years and it has had mother boards and hard drives repleced 12 times. And im not the only one who has trouble with macs. Our school is a mac school and things hardly work. I find them very unreliable

I'm going to go with windows just for compatibility issues. If I wanted to spend a mint just to run windows faster, I'd buy a mac. If I wanted to use something more difficult that doesn't run jack, I'd run a *nix system. As for DOS, I love it, I still have it, not installed, but I still have it.

The answer is no. DOS doesn't allow for multitasking, even in the early windows versions that ran in dos. Linux is a great OS, but just like every OS, the more popular it becomes, the more security holes will be found (and therefore virii). I love how Mac is pushing the "more secure" angle, heaven forbid it be because it's not a popular choice for homeowners due to its extravagant price. (not to mention lack of upgradability, hence why the OS runs so perfect on it)

Its just a bit simple.

PCs are better if you wish to either play a game, make 3D art of any kind or to do what you like with.

Macs are the machine of ART. Any design company will use a MAC. Most recording studios will use macs. They handle artistic stuff better then PC's but they just cant handle 3D graphics as well.

Overal, it depends what you use it for!

Shh, macs aren't as stable as people claim, and the reason why they're not virus ridden is because they're not mainstream.

Im a gamer, so its windows for the compatibility.

I have nothing against any system though, i love DOS.

In an ideal world i may well chose to use linux.

I'd say a mac it's more stable than windows. and more user friendly than linux. Though the newer versions of linux are starting to close the gap
