Theredbaron : (06 February 2012 - 04:11 AM) Life, tiss full of FARK YOU! Moments.
Warlock : (05 February 2012 - 09:20 AM) LOL :D
Theredbaron : (05 February 2012 - 02:57 AM) Haha, that is the same for me, cept with newegg. :) I checked both stores, cause they are both "good" ones, but newegg was always cheaper for what I wanted, Also, hen I ordered my case it said it would be a week or so to get here, got here in 2 days.
Warlock : (04 February 2012 - 01:27 PM) I'm a Tiger fan but only because when ever I've looked for stuff, Tiger always had what I needed and usually cheaper than NewEgg. I even get great delivery time with Tiger. A lot faster than what's stated! :D
Theredbaron : (03 February 2012 - 07:07 PM) I ended up getting one that tiger didn't have, so :P to tiger.
Theredbaron : (03 February 2012 - 07:07 PM) No where near. Tiger is nothing compared to Newegg. When I built my computer, they only had like, 20 vid cards. Newegg had over 100.
Warlock : (03 February 2012 - 11:05 AM) Tiger and NewEgg are roughly the same. Same selection, same prices. LOL
Theredbaron : (02 February 2012 - 03:59 PM) Eh, more of a newegg man myself. Fark tiger. They have shitty selection.
Warlock : (02 February 2012 - 10:37 AM) Check places like Tiger Direct! :D They always have some great deals going on.
Theredbaron : (01 February 2012 - 08:43 PM) Last I checked they were up 20-30 plus. But I haven't checked in a bit. Not since about a week or two after the big floods.
Warlock : (01 February 2012 - 08:52 AM) I haven't seen much change in prices. I've seen a bunch go down. :D
Theredbaron : (31 January 2012 - 05:26 PM) The bad thing is that now all the prices are going up. DAMN YOU GOD! YOUR FLOODS MAKE ME SPEND MORE!
Warlock : (31 January 2012 - 11:02 AM) LOL :D
Theredbaron : (30 January 2012 - 05:07 PM) You sir, are an arse. Need me a new drive, or 10.
Warlock : (30 January 2012 - 12:43 PM) You asked for it - 128MB Lexar Jump Drive, 2GB Kingston DataTraveler, 4GB PNY Optima SDHC (Digital Camera), 32GB Class 10 Adata SDHC (Camcorder), 8GB SanDisk Micro SDHC (my DS), 2GB Micro SD (wife/daughter's DS), 32GB Transcend SDHC Class 10 (Wii - DML), two 2GB Kodak SD, four 2GB SanDisk SD, 4GB Micro SDHC (Wii). All those 2GB SD cards I had for my Rock Band 3 DLC until I was able to emulate the NAND! :D
Theredbaron : (29 January 2012 - 02:49 PM) Lol, yes. O, just remembered more. I also have a 4gb nano g1 and a 4gb nano g2

I need infomartions for MAX Media Launcher. I heard it's something like PassKey DS. Can you use MML to load NDS Roms from the GBA Slot? And can you use the GBA Movie Player? Can anyone help?

English Description:
Hardcore gamers the world over invested in Flash Carts for their GBA handhelds, running home brew games or programs shared among users or downloaded from the internet. With a Flash Cart and an emulator, for example, you could play games for older machines such as the Mega Drive/Genesis or the Sinclair ZX Spectrum on your handheld. It was your ticket to a whole new world of home brew software and emulation gaming. Then came the Nintendo DS. It’s fully backwards-compatible with the GBA, but you could only use a Flash Cart in GBA mode. There was no easy way of accessing DS programs on your Flash Cart. Until now…

MAX Media Launcher for the Nintendo DS and DS Lite is the perfect solution for accessing DS media from any GBA flash storage device. Simply snap in the Max Media Launcher cartridge, and that's it! Media, freeware, executables and other files stored on your flash card can be launched. The Flash Cart revolutionised the GBA home brew scene, and with MAX Media Launcher, it will do for the DS too.

MAX Media Launcher is compatible with most types of flash cards including M3 and NEO.

Features:
# Access media from any GBA flash storage device
# Use home brew GBA software on your DS
# Plug-and-play ease of use
# Compatible with most types of flash card

Edit: Oh, and can you say, if EZPass 1 is compatible with the GBA Movie Player? Thanks!

The MAX Media Launcher is designed specifically to do this, costs £12.99 [Approx. 24USD], and allows you to store homebrew data on a variety of compatible flash cards including M3 and NEO types.

The more expensive MAX Media Player, priced £129.99[approx. 240USD], goes further. It supports homebrew, but really as a footnote to extensive media playback - as well as viewing JPEGs through a built-in browser application, it will play back MP3 audio and even movies.

Both are due out in late April, available through retail and Codejunkies.com, and Datel says both are compatible with the new DS Lite as well as the old one.

Fits like a clamp!

MAX Media Player is a two-part peripheral - the player itself is a simple DS game card that goes in the DS game slot, allowing you to browse a 4GB hard disk that slots into the GBA cartridge slot and hugs the back of the unit as you can see in the photo. The hard disk will draw power directly from the DS.

MAX Media Player also includes a USB 2.0 cable allowing you to transfer data from your PC, as well as a Media Manager PC application for handling these transfers; Media Manager will also convert movies to a format the Player can understand and resize images to fit the DS screen.

Meanwhile, Datel's also got a third peripheral on the way. Called Communicator Headset, it effectively harnesses the microphone and speakers in a headset format, which Datel reckons will be more appropriate for comms in games like Metroid Prime: Hunters, which allows you to chat with other players in the game lobby. Communicator Headset will retail for £9.99.

I heard that MML only supports a few video types, not even .avi. And I heard that the Power of the DS runs out very fast with the MML. I'll better get MK4 because I want to run commercial ROMS!

You can do that with any flashcart, all you need is the proper software. Hell, if you really know what you're doing, you can play ROMs without a flashcart at all.

I heard about a new backup device, especialy made for NDS, called Ultra FlashPass (www.ndsgba.net). That is the first one, right? I never heard of one before. I wonder if this is a good one? I think "Ultra" is not very popular, they are onyl supported by one little shop.

The headset is already out. It doesn't work very well, and the part you speak into isn't close enough to a normal-sized person's mouth, and it isn't adjustable like an Xbox headset. The microphone then isn't sensitive enough, so you would have to take the headset off and move it to your mouth for it to pick up anything.

I have since purchased a MAX Media Launcher....All it does is it 'boots or makes the supercards accessible to run programs which are stored on the SD or CF card inserted into the Supercard' ........ WITHOUT having to Flash one's DS

So to Answer .....

I need infomartions for MAX Media Launcher. I heard it's something like PassKey DS. Can you use MML to load NDS Roms from the GBA Slot? ......... YES assuming you have a supercard in the GBA slot with a SD or CF media card with appropriate games on it for GBA or NDS

And can you use the GBA Movie Player? ...that I don't know , I use Moonshell which plays movies,mp3,view jpg etc.

Hope this is clearer than MUD smile.gif

Yeah, thanks. I've already decided. I'll get the Neo Flash Kit with MK4. That should be the best!

The Max Media Player with 4 Gig HDD is really the best no-haggle option, buy this one pack for roughly $150 (as I did) and you can do many cool things with it.

I have gotten these emulators to work on my DS with it:

Gameboy Color
Sega Master System
NES

Plus, the most exciting part is that there's a wonderful program called Maximum Overload or Max Overload for short that will allow you to utilize the HDD's USB drag and drop interface to run commercial roms!!!

Of course you may only download those commercial roms which you already own.

BTW .GBA is NOT a supported file extension.....that's the only drawback.

I read the Review about that thing, it said, the power runs out to fast. And about the NES and GBC games, you can play them with a normal flash card if you have goomba or pocketnes. But did you try SNES-Roms? Did they work? That's the only reason I need a PassKey for! Oh, and commercial ROMS of course!
