btw i heard there was goin to b a new version of battle network ony the main character is the grandson of lan or smthlke dat n megaman's features hav changed like hell but its ony in the ds

It depends really.... with an emulator at leas you're given the ability to cheat (e.g. by save stating the game during a hard battle or something... I guess meaning that you could avoid attacks easier).
